With a voice of special purity and simplicity, Emma Kirkby (Soprano) is "the Queen of Early Music". For this concert she joins with Jakob Lindberg (Lute), one of the most prolific performers in the field of renaissance and baroque music.

This is the first opportunity for local audiences to hear Emma Kirkby since she was created a Dame of the British Empire in the Birthday Honours List in June. Dowland and Purcell have always been at the core of her magnificent contribution to music here and throughout the world. We also welcome the distinguished Swedish lutenist Jakob Lindberg back to Warwick. More...
