The Talich Quartet, one of the leading Czech quartets, returns to Leamington having given a memorable concert in March 2008. Talich is the name of one of the great Czech musical families and the leader is the son of Jan Talich senior who founded this Quartet in 1964. Kalliwoda was the leading Czech composer in the early nineteenth century and his third quartet is like a violin concerto.
