Leamington Music

Leamington Music is dedicated to ensuring that the Leamington area can continue to enjoy a high standard of international chamber music and early music.

We are now in our fourth season, and in our first three years we have very successfully put on over 100 concerts. The highlight of last season was undoubtedly the outstandingly successful Haydn and Vienna Festival Weekend.

Thanks to support by individuals, trusts, sponsors, local authorities and our Friends organisation, Leamington Music has been able to plan a major programme of concerts for the financial year 2009/2010:

• Piano Recitals by Chen Chen and Di Xao
• The Winter/Christmas Concert Series
• International String Quartets Series in Leamington
• Early Music Series at St Mary's Warwick
• The Music in the Round concerts
• Two Family Concerts: for 2-7 and 7-11 year olds

In addition plans are at an advanced stage for the Leamington Music Festival Weekend on 30 April to 4 May 2010. This years theme is "The Early Romantics" : Chopin, Mendelssohn and Schumann.

We plan to end the season with more Concerts in Warwickshire Churches.
