The Talich Quartet is one of the very few top Czech quartets that has never played in Leamington. Talich is the name of one of the great Czech musical families and the leadrer is the son of Jan Talich senior who founded this Quartet in 1964. In 2007 highlights for the Quartet have included a ten conceret tour of America and concerts in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and the Prague Spring Festival.
