Kosmos at The Dream Factory, Warwick

Harriet Mackenzie violin
Meg Hamilton viola
Miloš Milivojević accordion

A marvellously eclectic mix of music from all over the world. Each member of Kosmos is an international soloist in their own right and all have travelled extensively. They have collectively studied the music of North Africa, the Middle East, Jewish, Balkan and Gypsy music, Argentine tango, flamenco, Celtic and jazz traditions as well as contemporary classical music. These musicians perform freely with panache, innovation and creativity, incorporating a flavour of improvisation into their own unique arrangements and compositions.

Current Government guidance states that face coverings MUST be worn to concerts; any changes to this will be listed on our homepage.
Please note that concerts might be cancelled if any Government guidance changes; in the event of this, a full refund will be offered.

Kosmos

Harriet MacKenzie violin
Meg Hamilton viola
Miloš Milivojević accordion

Back for its first visit to Leamington since 2010, Kosmos excites globally with a heady mix of Balkan, gypsy, klezmer, tangos and J S Bach. A great opportunity to hear again the astonishing accordion playing of Miloš Milivojević from Serbia, while Harriet Mackenzie has appeared since in duo with Morgan Szymanski and Meg Hamilton was here with She’Koyokh.

“telepathic rapport, dazzling virtuosity, serious scholarship, intellectual curiosity and impeccable musicianship” (The Times)
