A welcome return to Warwick for this vocal consort comprised of some of the UK’s finest young consort singers, bringing a programme exploring cross-currents in sacred renaissance polyphony. Hildegard of Bingen, Byrd, Gesualdo, Gombert, de Lassus, Melgas, Ockeghem, Palestrina, des Prez, and de Vitry, plus other vocal works by Bennett, Owain Park, and Tim Watts.

The Gesualdo Six is a young, vocal consort specialising in the performance of  enaissance music. For their Warwick debut, they will be singing a programme of sacred and secular music from Italy’s Golden Age, featuring works by Palestrina, Gesualdo, Monteverdi, Lassus, Anerio, Vecchi, de Rore, Marenzio, de Macque, Massaino, Giovanelli and Malvezzi.
