Music by Astor Piazzolla and traditional tango numbers played by the group formed by Eduardo Vassallo, Principal Cello of City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and, like Nicolas Bricht, born in Buenos Aires. Astor Piazzolla took the rigid traditional tango out of the smoky, dark dance halls of Buenos Aires into the light, airy concert halls of Europe and America, and embraced by countless of our musicians!
