Last appearing in Leamington in 2016, this is the Elias Quartet’s fifth time here since first playing in the Festival Weekend in June 2006. Between 2012 and 2015 the Quartet performed the complete string quartets of Beethoven across the UK and countries around the world including the USA, Australia, Sweden, Germany and Holland. The cycle was broadcast by BBC Radio 3 and recorded live at the Wigmore Hall in London for release on their record label too.
