This is the eighth concert in the Royal Pump Rooms for the Royal String Quartet since its first visit in December 2005 – a real reflection of its popularity. On its last visit in January 2017, the Quartet captivated our audience with a juxtaposition of Mozart, Górecki, and Philip Glass, and its wonderfully varied offering in this programme promises another taste of the ensemble’s great flair for contrast.
