The York Waits offer a celebration of English medieval and Tudor carols, songs and dances for the festive season, performing in the sixteenth century livery costume of the city of York. They bring an array of instruments, including
bagpipes, curtal, fiddles, hurdy gurdy, rebec, rommelpot, sackbut and shawm, alongside flute, guitar, harp, percussion and recorders.
